Friday was Roxi's birthday and we spent the evening having dinner with her parents and my brother, Travis, and his fiancee, Danielle. We saved the big "to-do" for Sunday afternoon when we rented a giant, inflatable waterslide and barbecued with friends. All weekend long, most invited guests were worried about the weather forecast, and although it did rain on Saturday and Sunday morning, the sky cleared completely for the scheduled party time. Roxi and I worked pretty hard to have everything prepared and when party time arrived, we were ready and a grand time was had by all.
This was our first experience with an inflatable waterslide but it is most definitely not going to be our last! As you can see from the pictures, it is a lot like a inclined slip and slide complete with a pool at the bottom. Hopefully the pictures and video capture just how fun this waterslide was but you really have to experience it for yourself to truly understand. Get ready for next year because I'm sure we'll do this again for Roxi's birthday, but next time we might get the "big" slide!
