HE 0437-5439

German scientists have observed a massive star moving at more that 1.5 million miles per hour. They observed it with the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope and I can only say, "Wow! For once scientists have named something logically!" Of course the logic ends there as the star of interest is named HE 0437-5439. This discovery is of note as stars are not born with this kind of velocity so it suggests that it might have been ejected by a black hole. How ever it was formed, it could once again serve to tell mankind more about the secrets of the universe and it's amazing history.
