A note about mosquito diets.

They all eat nectar. The female ones only suck your blood for fun.

Well, they suck your blood like vitamins for their young. But there are plenty of other places they could get their iron. They absolutely do not need to be sucking your blood. Doesn't that just make you detest them even more?

And they don't only bite you. They stab you to penetrate your skin, then they saw and inject you with their saliva to thin your blood (that's how they transmit diseases), then they suck your blood.

There are a lot of mosquitoes around Lafayette right now, especially with all of the decaying debris laying around. They keep getting into the house. Now that is just downright rude. Anyway, it could be worse. I guess if that's the biggest way that Gustav has made me a victim, I should be grateful.
