Now Google labs has a new service that makes their web search even better. I just read about it on the official google blog. For most of us, it might not make much of a difference, but the blog points out how hard it is for blind people to understand some sites. Neat. The new search engine uses the old algorithm but also brings up pages that are less busy.
So why do I care?
I'm not blind.
But it turns out that a lot of the time the pages that are really busy are also sorta crappy in my opinion. I just tried a search on accessible search and another one on regular search, and guess what, the ones that were omitted in accessible were the ones that I wouldn't have been interested in. Neato.
